Game night on one phone.
Team charades for everyone on the sofa. Couch Club deals the prompts, keeps the clock and the score, and hands the phone over privately.
Free. No app, no sign-up, no adverts. 240 original prompts.
How a turn works
Two teams take turns. One person acts, their team guesses, everyone else watches the clock.
Pass the phone
The screen names the next actor and stays behind a curtain until they have it. Nobody else sees the prompt.
Act it out
A prompt appears with the clock running. No talking, no mouthing, no spelling: just acting. Up to 8 prompts per turn.
Tap Correct or Pass
Correct scores a point for the team. Pass skips a prompt, twice per turn. When time is up, the turn goes to the other team.
Fair for both teams
The rules are fixed before the first turn, so nobody argues about them halfway through.
- Equal turnsBoth teams get the same number of turns and seconds, even when one team is bigger.
- Eight prompts, no refillsEvery turn has the same eight-prompt limit, and a prompt is never dealt twice in a match.
- The clock doesn’t pauseIf the phone locks, the prompt hides and the time keeps going. Coming back never gives a fresh clock.
- Mistakes can be fixedAfter each turn, the group can correct a point that was tapped wrongly. Corrections never add time, prompts or passes.

Questions
Anything else? Write to support@twindle.nl.
Can we play charades with just one phone?
Yes. Couch Club is built for one shared phone, tablet or laptop. The phone goes to whoever is acting; it shows them a prompt privately while the room guesses, then the next actor takes it. No one else needs a device or an app.
How many players do you need?
At least four: two teams with at least two players each, so someone can act and someone can guess. Each team can have up to 12 players.
What if the teams are different sizes?
Both teams still get exactly the same number of turns, the same time per turn and at most 8 prompts per turn. Players take turns acting inside their team, so in a smaller team some people act more often. The setup screen shows who acts how many times before you start.
Is it free? Do we need an account?
It is free, with no account, no sign-up and no adverts. Team names and scores stay in your browser.
Are the prompts family-friendly?
Yes. All 240 prompts are original and were reviewed for families: everyday actions, animals, objects, jobs, places and silly situations. No film or TV titles, brands or famous people, so nobody needs special knowledge to guess.
What happens if the phone locks or someone switches apps during a turn?
The prompt hides straight away and the clock keeps running, exactly as if the turn had continued. When the phone comes back, Couch Club shows how much time is left and the actor taps to see the prompt again. If time ran out, the turn is over.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after your first visit. You can also add Couch Club to your home screen like an app.
